The House
Inshriach House was built in 1906 by the Blacks (of the Glasgow publishing family). It retains much of its Edwardian atmosphere with dark panelling, open fires, period furniture and a big farmhouse kitchen.
The house has been brought into the 21st century with the addition of a biomass boiler, central heating, solar panels and high speed satellite internet.
The Cabins
We love building quirky things at Inshriach and over the last 10 years we have created and updated our off grid holiday spaces, spread out over 20 acres alongside the river Spey.
In 2025, after 10 years of solid service, we pensioned off the original horse box sauna alongside the Spey and in its place we built our loghouse sauna, shared by all the guests at Inshriach.
The Distillery
The distillery shot to fame back in 2015 by winning Channel 4’s Shed of the Year with George Clarke.
The bar now is now open as a BYO / honesty bar for guests staying in the Canopy and Stars spaces and by prior arrangement we can arrange and host an evening for guests in the house.
We have a public Entertainment license covering the distillery and the farm yard which allows us to organise our own events and to plan yours too.
